More progress on Dekamaster while waiting on parts for Wolzard. Glued the shoulder pads right onto the shoulder joint cover piece which worked out quite nicely. Still need to paint the badge on the right shoulder strap. Also need to paint the red on the belt I forgot and the stripes down the right side of the body. Oh and finish the right leg and left forearm. Very happy with him so far.

Coming along. Got the chest armor, helmet, belt and left leg finished. Still a lot left to do. ^_^;
Nothing note worthy on Wolzard yet but soon. Waiting for some replacement parts… unless I can find the ones I misplaced. >.<
Recently, I stumbled across some parts I never knew existed and bought them immediately. This is the beginnings of the aftermath of that purchase. I believe if I can get Dekamaster and Wolzard done at roughly the same time, then I am absolutely going to reenact their only meeting ever (Dekaranger VS Magiranger special)… in animated gif format.
I know I haven’t posted in the past few weeks but, in the midst if making Go-on Red and finishing my Kibaranger, I got a wild hair to make one of my personal favorites since I lucked into most of the parts I was looking for to make him.
However, until he’s a bit further along, I’ll just leave you with this preview.
As you can see, I have most of the right arm where I want it. Soooooo much left to do.
Since I can never seem to concentrate on one figure at a time and always seem to be working on at least….um… 8 at a time. I figured (no pun intended) that I would throw another one into the mix. And speaking of mix, did you know that if you start testing various parts of Figuarts together, you can come up with a combination that decides for you what your next custom Dairanger S.H.Figuarts is going to be. So, here it is; the very start of my next custom.
On a side note, please for give the appearance of Ryuuranger’s head. The one that actually goes to this figure is mid-way through the painting process.
No longer a mock-up, I started working on Go-on Red… since apparently I have the attention span of a SQUIRREL!… um… Added the black line around Gosei Red symbol but still have to paint the helmet… I’ve really been slacking on painting helmets. >.<
Stuck at home today so I didn’t get much done but I thought I would play around with the figure stuff I had here and do some tests and comparisons.
First, I put a Yellow Owl helmet on Red Hawk and then did a piss poor super fast photoshop job (so embarrassing especially since I’m a graphic designer by day, and the lazy guy in me just said F!@# it, 10 second job later)
Second, a comparison of the Red Buster vinyl head to the original Figuarts one.
Third, a test fitting of Magishine parts I’m working on.
Finally a photo of the many helmets I have and more are on the way. >.<
